Giardiasis
Giardiasis is a diarrheal illness caused by Giardia lamblia, which is a tiny parasite usually spread through water. This parasite can survive for long periods of time in water or on other surfaces. Giardia symptoms include diarrhea, gas, stomach cramps, bloating, weight loss and fatigue. It may take up to 1-4 weeks before any symptoms are noticed.
