Utah Lead Coalition - About Us

Our Story

In 2016, looking to improve Utah’s response to childhood lead exposure, pediatrician Claudia Fruin, MD formed the Utah Lead Coalition. The Utah Lead Coalition is a group of public and private partners with the common goal of improving lead testing, reporting and education in our state. With CDC grant funding, we will continue to fight against the still present and harmful effects of lead especially in young children and pregnant women.
